Tron DaQuan Foster entered this world on March 16, 2002, bringing with him a light, a joy, and a presence that would leave a lasting imprint on every life he touched. Born to Ashley M. Foster and Anthony OC£CheeseOCØ Hardy in
Spartanburg, South Carolina, Tron grew up surrounded by love, laughter, and a family that adored him deeply. He matriculated through Spartanburg County School District Two and graduated from Boiling Springs High School in the year 2020. He continued his education as an online student at Spartanburg Methodist College. Yet his heart beat with a dream he carried proudly, he longed to become a student at his beloved Clemson University. To know Tron was to know Clemson. He was the Tigers number one fan. He also cheered for the Jacksonville Jaguars, but he was a devoted supporter of Cam Newton.
At an early age, Tron joined Cleveland Chapel Baptist Church where he was baptized. During his youth he served faithfully in the youth choir and played the drums with passion and joy.
Tron had an extraordinary gift for cooking. He could prepare anything, and prepare it well, putting care, creativity, and confidence into every dish. His favorite color was red, bold and vibrant, just like his personality.
Tron loved his family deeply, and his mother was the center of his world. Their bond was unbreakable and filled with laughter, shared moments, and a closeness that defined his life. Tron embraced his entire family with affection, loyalty, and a heart full of love.
The outdoors was Trons sanctuary. He was a fisherman by instinct and a hunter by passion, committed to deer hunting and wild hog hunting with undeniable skill. Tron did far more than participate, he excelled. He was an award winning sportsman whose trophies and ribbons reflect countless hours of dedication and natural talent. His commitment to the outdoors led him to memberships in the Outdoor Dream Foundation, Pro Fisherman, Boiling Springs Fishing Team, Camp Happy Days, Camp Victory, and the Big Brother Club. Mentors and fellow outdoorsmen admired his teachable spirit, his strength, and his determination.
At the age of six, Tron was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma in his right femur. He underwent treatment and the cancer eventually went into remission. During this season he received a metal rod in his leg at Emory Medical Center in Atlanta, Georgia, which allowed him to regain his strength and mobility.
When Tron was eight years old, he faced another battle as he was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. He received a bone marrow transplant from his mother in Charleston, South Carolina, a powerful act of love that gave him renewed hope and healing.
In July of 2025, Tron encountered yet another challenge when he was diagnosed with a severe brain infection. He was hospitalized in Greenville, South Carolina, where he continued to fight with courage, surrounded by the care of his family and medical team.
Tron was preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Jerome Bell; aunts, Rhonda Bell Jones and Tracy Garner; paternal grandmother, Grace Garner; uncle, Howard Garner, Jr.; and godfather, Gaston Calvin Haywood.
He leaves behind a lifetime of memories, joy, and inspiration to his loving and devoted mother, Ashley (Marlon Simpson) Foster of the home; father, Anthony OC£CheeseOCØ Hardy of Spartanburg SC; stepfather, Kenny (Melinda) Garner of Greenville South Carolina; siblings, Kendall Garner, Gracelyn Garner, and Jarontae Price all of the home and Courtney Hughes of
Spartanburg, SC. Cherishing his legacy are maternal grandparents, Sandra (Ervin Rookard) Foster of Boiling Springs, SC; paternal grandparents, Rita (Jimmy) Wilson, and James Hardy of Spartanburg SC, and Howard Garner of Estill SC; great grandparents, Mary and John Buckson of
Spartanburg, SC who also helped to raise him; uncles, Kevin (Nicole) Foster and Dontae Hardy of Spartanburg SC; aunts, Lawanda (Rasheem) Clark, Latisa Smith, and Latoya Smith all of Greenville, SC and Jessica Miller of Boiling Springs, SC; godparents, Bobby Haywood, Timmigo (Sharon) Barnett, and Narado (Natasha) Jackson all of
Spartanburg, SC. Tron also leaves behind his cherished pets, Reign his furbaby and Brandy his pet snake. He is also remembered by extended family members, Linda Galloway, Kristina Kyle, Wayne Kyle, and Caleb Kyle. Guided and encouraged in his outdoor passions were his mentors, Barrett Keel and Johnathan Jones, along with Bass Pro Fisherman mentors, Ryan Salzman and Brian Latimer. He leaves behind many other beloved family members and friends.
On Saturday, November 29, 2025, after braving the cold to cheer for his Clemson Tigers at the Clemson and Carolina football game, Tron returned home and gained the ultimate victory, just as his Clemson Tigers did. His earthly journey came to a close, but his spirit rose with triumph. Tron will be remembered for the strength he carried, the joy he radiated, and the love he poured into so many lives.
Rest well OC£HeroOCÖ and OC£Mega TronOCØ
