Troy Jefferson Adkins

Troy J. "Jeff" Adkins, 63, of Circleville, died on Thursday evening, November 16, 2023, at Kobacker House in Columbus. He was born on Monday, August 29, 1960 in Portsmouth, OH, the son of the late Henry and Marilyn Stout Adkins.

He is survived by two daughters: Jill Adkins of West Union, OH and Dona M. Adkins of Frankfort, five grandchildren: Braedon Lutz, Dixie Lutz, T.J. Simon, Katie Simon and Merissa Simon, two brothers: Carl and Tony Adkins of Portsmouth, and his best friend, Jack Short. Troy was preceded in death by one daughter, Melissa Lutz, and one brother, Kevin Adkins.

Troy was very proud of the fact that he was a front loader truck driver for Rumpke. He was a long-time employee of Rumpke. He enjoyed his time fishing, and he was an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan. Go Bucks!

A graveside service will be held on Saturday morning, November 25, 2023 at 11 a.m. in the Concord Cemetery, Lattaville with Rev. Phillip Rutherford officiating. Following the service, Troy will be laid to rest beside his daughter, Melissa.
