Troy Dewayne Cronquist, age 56 was born to his loving parents Kim and Patty Cronquist on April 27 1969. He unexpectedly passed away on June 17, 2025. He was born in Logan Utah where he lived most of his life.
Troy was raised up Smithfield Canyon where he lived a great childhood experiencing many adventures, including riding motorcycles, hunting, and jockeying horses for his family. Troy was very ambitious starting his first job at USU working with his dad while he was still in High School. Troy graduated from Sky View High school in 1987 then he attended USU. He started working at Mountain Farms cheese factory where he excelled in his career and making several friends. Troy met Camille and together they had a daughter Tori. He later met the love of his life Leslie Garn, they were married and had 2 girls Tiffany and Taysha. In 1995 Troy and Leslie moved to Nampa Idaho where he continued his career working for J R Simplot. Troy and Leslie later divorced and he returned to Cache Valley to be closer to his family.
He got a job at Ensign Toyota where he met his lifetime friend Dale Hansen. Troy worked at several businesses selling cars where he could sell an ice cube to an Eskimo. He loved meeting new people and making new friends. Troy loved going to the horse races with his family, especially his grandpa and grandma, Ollie and Wilda. One of his favorite activities was golfing with his friend Dale Hansen. Family was always a top priority to Troy and he loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. Troy spent the last months of his life up Smithfield Canyon with his dad and family. He is survived by his loving Father, Kim Cronquist Sr., Brothers Jeremy (Jackie), Kimmer (Misty), Cody (Jessi), Sisters Casey (Kory), Cami (Dylan), Children Tory (Brad) Custer, Tiffany (Ben) Birch, Taysha (Dylan) Hardy, 4 grandchildren Emersyn, Wyatt, Maggdaline, Kitera. Preceded in death by his mother Patty Cronquist and Berniece Cronquist grandparents Ollie and Wilda Cronquist, Clifford Russell, Leslie Harold and Donna Wight.
A viewing will be held at the Smithfield 7th Ward Church 200 S. 100 E. from 10-11 am on Thursday June 26, 2025. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 am following the viewing. Burial will follow at the Logan cemetery. All family and friends are invited to attend.
