Troy Ray Edwards, 69, of Apple Creek, died March 20, 2025 at his home.
Troy was born September 21, 1955 in Kimper, Kentucky to Freelin and Maudie {Varney} Edwards.
Troy served in the United States Marine Corps from 1976 to 1979.
Troy worked at Regal Ware, Luk, and Kidron Body. He loved gardening, fishing, hunting, and playing on the computer. Troy loved his puppies.
Troy will be deeply missed by his brothers Jimmy Edwards and Russell Edwards; and sister Elizabeth (Dan) Ewing of Newark.
Troy was preceded in death by his parents Freelin and Maudie Edwards, step-father Clyde Rexrode, and sisters Drema Edwards, and Kaye Craft.
Friends may call Wednesday March 26 from 2 to 3 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Funeral services will follow at 3 p.m. at the funeral home (and livestreamed at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com/obituaries/Troy-Edwards). Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens, where military rites will be held. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com.
