Natural Bridge - Troy P. Hebert, 56, passed away on October 31, 2025, after a fierce and courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by his loving family.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, November 6, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm and on Friday, November 7, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, at Lundy Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Inc., located at 500 State Street in Carthage, NY 13619. Following the calling hours on Friday, a memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm in the Lundy Funeral Home Chapel. A celebration of life will be held at the Natural Bridge Volunteer Fire Co. Inc., located at 27570 High St, Natural Bridge, NY 13665, following the memorial service.

The family kindly asks that any memorial donations in Troy's memory be made in the form of a dish to pass at his celebration of life, which may be dropped off at the fire department anytime after 12:30 pm on Friday. Additionally, the family would like to encourage everyone to perform an act of kindness in Troy's name, so that he may continue to bring a smile to people's faces.

Troy was known for his quick wit, love of jokes and pranks, and the way he could make anyone laugh no matter the moment. He had a heart as strong as his work ethic. He was happiest working with his hands, fixing, building, or helping someone else. He always put others before himself, offering his time, strength, and humor freely to everyone he cared about.

Early in his career, Troy worked at Lofink Ford, where he met Pam, before pursuing his dream of owning his own car dealership. Later in life, he followed another calling — teaching. His passion for working with young people led him to the classroom, and eventually to becoming a principal. Troy loved inspiring his students to learn, grow, and take pride in their efforts. He believed deeply in teaching not just academics, but the importance of responsibility, respect, and kindness — lessons that extended far beyond the classroom.

He is survived by his loving wife, Pam Hebert; his children, Seth (Melissa) Hebert and Ginny (Derek) Hebert; and his granddaughter, Celia — his greatest joy. He is also survived by his parents, Cliff and Doreen Hebert; his brother, Jim (Lori) Hebert; his sister-in-law, Tammy; his nephews, Cliffy and Kyle; and his niece, Stephany, and many other family members whom he loved deeply.

Troy is preceded in death by his brother, C.J.Hebert.

Troy’s legacy is one of laughter, hard work, and selflessness. He touched countless lives with his humor, generosity, and guidance, and his memory will continue to bring smiles and strength to all who loved him.

The Hebert family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the Beaver River and Jeff-Lewis BOCES communities. Your continuous love, prayers, lending hands, and support during this time have been deeply moving and will never be forgotten. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Arrangements are entrusted to the Lundy Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc. at 500 State Street, Carthage, NY, 13619. Online condolences in his memory can be made at www.lundyfuneralhome.com
