It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our Troy MacIntyre, who left us far too soon.

Troy was known for his incredible ability to turn friends into family, and in turn, he became family to everyone he met. Troy had a gift for making each person in his life feel special and valued. He was the first to show up when anyone needed help and wouldn't leave until he knew everyone was taken care of.

Troy is irreplaceable. He was the big brother, uncle, and friend who gave advice, offered unwavering support during difficult times, and could always be counted on to lift spirits-sometimes by literally showing up unannounced to drag loved ones "off the couch and out of the house" when they needed it most. He never took sides in family disputes, except when it came to sports and board games, where his competitive spirit shone through.

Troy spent his final weekend living his best life at the family cabin that held such special meaning to his heart -a place that broke ground the day his niece Jayden was born and into which he poured his heart and soul alongside his entire MacIntyre and Baird families. He celebrated birthdays with loved ones, enjoyed fishing, and even helped his wife secure a fish she had caught and almost lost the day he left us. It brings comfort to know that he left this world in his happy place, surrounded by the beauty of the mountains and the love of his family.

Troy leaves behind his devoted wife Brandie MacIntyre; his siblings Keith MacIntyre (Tera) and Tina Flor (Gregg); his loving mother Peggy MacIntyre; his mother-in-law Kay Litreal; his sister-in-law Tiffany Kipper (Matt); his brother-in-law Dale Litreal (Kristina); many beloved nieces, nephews, and extended family members; and countless friends who were blessed to be part of his chosen family. He was preceded in death by his father Kim.

The family cabin will forever serve as a place where Troy's presence can be felt, a testament to the love, sweat, and countless hours he invested in creating a gathering place for the people he cherished most.

Troy's legacy lives on in the lives he touched, the laughter he shared, and the love he gave so freely. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten. As we say goodbye to our "little leprechaun," we carry his memory in our hearts until we meet again.
