Troy "Buddy" Lynn McDaniel of Pine Bluff passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2026.
He was born October 24, 1948 in Pine Bluff to the late Troy Joseph McDaniel and Hazel Bowlin Vincent. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife Betty Sue McDaniel. He served in the United States Marine Corps in the Vietnam War, he retired from International Paper/Evergreen in Pine Bluff. He attended Rison High School, he also enjoyed working on old vehicles, hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his children Travis Lynn McDaniel and his wife Frances, Steve and the late Carla Jacks, Judy Sutherland and her husband David, and Johnny McDaniel; siblings, Diane Myhand and her husband Mickey, Charles McDaniel and his wife Carol, Barbara Slaughter and her husband Tommy, David McGriff and his wife Nelwyn, Kirby McGriff, and Danny McGriff; grandchildren, Casie Jackson and her husband Trent, Keely Williams and her husband Matt, Rena Dvorak and her husband Dennis, Carson Rinehart and fiancé Skyler, Travis Cole McDaniel, Anna Clark, Taylor McDaniel, and Erin McDaniel, a multitude of great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
