Troy Olivier

Church Point, LA: Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM Monday, November 17, 2025 at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Church Point, LA for Donavon Troy Olivier, 57. Mr. Olivier, a native and resident of Church Point, died Thursday evening, November 13 at his residence. Visitation will be held at Guidry Funeral Home from 10:00 AM until the time of Services on Monday. A Rosary will be recited at 2:30 PM Monday by Fr. Brian Harrington, Pastor of the Church. He will conduct the Services with Interment immediately following in the OLSH Cemetery on Hwy 35 north of Church Point. Pallbearers will be Tyler Olivier, Blake Savant, Andrew Ardoin, Kevin Thibodeaux, Nathan Constance and John Thomas Lavergne

Survivors include his wife, Tina Bellard Olivier of Church Point; his daughter, Taylor Blair Olivier Ardoin and husband Andrew of Maurice, LA; two sons, Tyler Paul Olivier of Many, LA and Blake Anthony Savant of Eunice, LA; his father, John Malcolm "Mickey" Olivier of Church Point and his extended family. He was preceded in death by his mother, Willie Mae Lavergne Olivier and a sister, Vonda Olivier Savoy.

A hard-working diesel mechanic in the oilfield for a number of years; Mr. Olivier was a loving husband and father who loved to hunt. Truly loved, he will be missed by all who knew him.
