Troy Walker Obituary
Born Aug. 8, 1934 in Alton, he was the son of L. Alonzo and Essie L. (Hogg) Walker.
He married Evelyn J. Dikes Nov. 23, 1955 in East Alton. She preceded him in death Apr. 19, 2013.
Troy worked for Owens-Illinois Glassworks in Alton.
He is survived by a sister, Earlene House of Wood River and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Philip Troy Walker; a daughter, Patricia Whitlock; two sisters, Mae Burgin and Betty Cook; and three brothers, Kenneth, Luke, and Wilbur Walker.
Visitation will be Friday, March 6 at Paynic Home for Funerals from 11 a.m. until services begin at 12 p.m. Burial will follow at Upper Alton Cemetery.
