Tupou (Lauese) Faleaka Palu Tu'ifua Tupou (Lauese) Faleaka rested peacefully in God's loving arms on September 4, 2025 at the age of 66 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Tupou was born to Lesieli Matangitaulua and Samiuela Taukatelata Palu on January 6, 1959, in Tongatapu, Tonga. Tupou's oldest brother Bishop Ma'afu Pua brought her to America in 1980. It was here in Salt Lake City that she met the love of her life Siaosi Kaihau Tu'ifua and got married on August 3, 1983. She attended Queen Salote College and then became a teacher there as well in her younger years. She had many talents and was gifted with the talent of Tongan crafting from making kahoa, kafa, teunga tauolunga, kato teu and kafu lalanga. She loved to gift people with the Tongan crafting that she made. Hi Caleb, please update my moms obituary. We're going to add 2 of my siblings that we adopted out. She is survived by her daughter Sulieti; son Samiuela (Susitina) and their children: Lisinge, Amanaki, Tupou Faleaka Kalisitiana, Siaosi Kaihau V, Siaosi Mafoa'ae'ata, Luana, Longolongo and Mary Elisabeth; daughter Longolongo; daughter Poaloi ; son Siaosi Kaihau II (Anna Marie); daughter Lesieli (Fineasi) and their children: Taleiveikula, Siaosi Kaihau IV and Wendy; son Simote Lauhe'a (Selita) and their children: Celia and Mafinia; and son Sione "Ma'afu" (Sitamipa) and their children: Samiuela, Siale, Tupou and Selieni. She is also survived by her siblings; brother Ma'afu (Molimoli); brother Koliniasi (Lavinia); 'Ilaisa'ane (Hungalu deceased); Pasepa; Solomone (Meleana) and Kalisitiana deceased. She was preceded in death by her parents, her youngest sister Kalisitiana Palu & her husband Siaosi Kaihau Tu'ifua. Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 15, 2025 at The Point Church In Utah at 5133 Heath Ave Salt Lake City, Utah 84118. Family viewing is at 8:00 am to 1:00 pm and malanga from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. Interment will be at the Redwood Mortuary & Cemetery 6500 S Redwood Rd West Jordan, UT 84084 at 3:30 pm.
