She leaves with cherished memories, her husband, Antonio "Tony", three beautiful children: Alan Harrison (Efia) of Southaven, MS; Bryson (Shantrell) and Chelsey both of Columbus, MS; four sisters: Arva "Ree" Young of Rancho Cucamonga, CA; Georgia Evelyn Harrison, Janelle Harrison both of Columbus, MS; and Robrette (John) Crowder of Atlanta, GA; five grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews, one aunt: Carolyn Egnew of Columbus, MS and God-daughter, Yhianni Joiner. Meshelle will always be loved and cherished by her family and friends who have great memories of their time together. Her life will forever be celebrated.

Mrs Owens was my son Caleb's 3rd grade teacher and she would help me pray for my son and my mother. She was so loving and dedicated to her teaching. She will be truly missed.

Ms Owens was a sweet and dedicated educator . She taught and made an impression on my granddaughter Lailah who loved Ms Owens. My prayers are with the family .
