Clarence Muscles Owens (Junior), age 81, of Church Hill, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, September 8, 2025, at Holston Valley Hospital in Kingsport, TN.

He was a member of Oak Glen Baptist Church in Yuma, VA. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He served in the United States Air Force from 1964-1968. He and his late wife, Terry Lee, spent much of their adult lives fostering children in the Tri-Cities area.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 37 years, Terry Lee Owens; son, Christopher Lee Owens; granddaughter, LeeAnne Christine Owens; mother, Shirley Owens; and father, Clarence W. Owens.

He is survived by his brother, Robert Clyde Owens (Buster); children, Gregory Owens and his wife, Mary Owens, Lisa Reynolds and her husband, Henry Reynolds, Elizabeth Kimbrough, Cassandra Owens, Melissa Owens, Justin Owens, and Rebekah Owens; along with several grandchildren, extended family, and friends.

The family will receive visitors from 1:00-3:00 PM on Saturday, September 20, 2025 at Oak Glen Baptist Church in Yuma, VA. Funeral services will begin at 3:00 PM with Pastor Danny Sykes officiating. Food will be provided in the fellowship hall.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Diabetes Association, or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Clarence's name.
