Holiday Shores-Twila Rae Adams, 69, passed away Saturday, September 27, 2025 at her home.

Born Nov. 19, 1955 in St. Louis, she was a daughter of Jack and Donna Joyce (Simms) Austin.

Twila married Robert W. Adams July 7, 1973 at St. Paul Methodist Church in Rosewood Heights.

Her legacy will be one of deep family love, with her grandchildren holding the dearest place in her heart, along with a lifelong devotion to the St. Louis Cardinals and a love for boating with her friends and family.

In addition to her husband, the loving wife, mother, and grandmother is survived by two daughters, Tosha Adams of Edwardsville and her fiancée Larry Hrabusicky, Jr., and Angela Hawks and her husband Michael of Edwardsville; 3 grandchildren, Christian Robert Adams, Tessa Grace Hawks, and Robert Joseph Hawks; 2 sisters and their husbands, Starla and Harold Irvin of Staunton and Karen and Robert Darr of Wood River; her brother and his wife, Craig and Christina Austin of Godfrey; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Lana Rhodes.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
