Twila Shapland Obituary

Twila graduated with the Class of 1962 at Goodland High School. She was the Secretary at Lane County Road Department for around 20 years. She was well known in the community as a Photographer, taking many pictures of weddings, Senior pictures, family photos, prom pictures, sports and many other activities. She also took many photos for the Dighton Herald. She enjoyed scrapbooking, cooking, baking, fishing, her cats, knitting and crocheting for her family.
She is survived by her Daughter- Gina & Roger Reed of Bertendorf, Iowa, 2 Sons- Kirk & Tala Shapland and Cory Shapland all of Dighton and 5 Grandchildren- Lexie Reed, Abby & Dalton Doom, Ethan Shapland, Samantha Shapland & Elliot Shapland.
Funeral Service will be at 10:30 AM Thursday at United Methodist Church in Dighton with Rev Laura Cherry officiating. Burial will be in Dighton Memorial Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to United Methodist Church or Lane County Hospital in care of Boomhower Funeral Home. Condolences may be posted at www.garnandfuneralhomes.com
