Twyla Hulme

Wilmington - Twyla Marie Williams Hulme, born on July 22, 1936, passed away peacefully on June 5, 2025, at the age of 88. She was a devoted homemaker whose life was filled with love and dedication to her faith, family and friends.
Twyla found great joy in cooking, often preparing meals that brought warmth and happiness to those she cherished. Her kitchen was a place of comfort and delight, where she shared her culinary talents with all who gathered around her table. In addition to her passion for cooking, Twyla had a green thumb and spent countless hours nurturing her garden, finding peace and beauty in the blooms she cultivated.
A woman of faith, Twyla expressed her devotion through song as a member of the choir at the Old Parish Church in Weston, VT when she lived in that area. She took great pride in contributing to the spiritual life of her community.
Twyla was preceded in death by her beloved parents, T. Poe Williams and Evyln Singer Williams. She is survived by her two sons, Greg Hulme and Homer Hulme, III, who will carry forward her legacy of love and kindness.

Twyla will be remembered fondly by all who knew her, and her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
