Gwendolyn Hall

Annette Hall, born on June 19, 1939, in Mecklenburg County, NC, passed away peacefully on September 25, 2025, in Calabash, NC, at the age of 86.

Annette lived a life filled with love, adventure, and dedication. Her greatest joy was being a devoted stay-at-home mom to her three sons. She cherished her role, nurturing her children with unwavering care and guiding them with wisdom and compassion.

Her interests were as vibrant as her spirit. Annette had a passion for swimming and crafts and relished every opportunity to embark on camping trips with her family. In her 50s, she became a lifeguard and instructor, a testament to her lifelong love of swimming. She was proud to have taught all her children and grandchildren how to swim, sharing with them the joy and freedom she found in the water.

Annette's roots ran deep in Huntersville, NC, where she grew up on the land that is now home to Asbury Chapel. Her faith and connection to the church community were central to her life, providing strength and solace throughout her years.

Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Marvin, Annette leaves behind a legacy of love and family. She is survived by her children: Marvin E. Hall, Jr., and his fiancée Susan Lawson; Jeffrey W. Hall and his partner Dana Wilson; and Timothy E. Hall. Her grandchildren, Kristina Denise Caison and her husband Josh, Kimberly Michelle Hall, and Michael Eugene Hall, will forever cherish their memories with her. Annette's legacy also includes six great-grandchildren, who brought her immense joy and pride.

Annette's life was an inspiration to all who knew her. Her kindness, strength, and dedication to her family and community will be remembered always. A service to honor and celebrate her life will be held at a later date, bringing together those who were touched by her warmth and generosity.
