It is with heavy hearts and cherished memories that we announce the passing of Gerard "Jerry" Sigismondi, who left this world on September 17, 2025, at the age of 62. Born on March 30, 1963, in Bay Shore, NY, Jerry's journey through life was defined by warmth, kindness, and an indomitable spirit.

Jerry grew up in New York, where he cultivated a passion for music, learning to play the piano from a young age-a talent that would bring joy to many and serve as a lifelong source of inspiration. With an entrepreneurial spirit, Jerry established and operated his own successful brokerage firm in New York, demonstrating dedication and resilience in his professional endeavors.

Throughout his life, Jerry believed in the power of friendship and connection, considering his friends as much a part of his family as his biological brothers and sister. His generous and friendly nature touched all who knew him, and he had an extraordinary ability to bring people together, creating cherished memories with all those around him.

Before finding his peaceful retreat in NC, Jerry lived in Brentwood and Eastport, NY, sharing countless moments with family and friends. He and his beloved wife, Debra, embarked on a new chapter in Carolina Shores, NC, where they retired to embrace the tranquility of the South and be closer to Debra's family.

Though preceded in death by his dear wife, Debra, Jerry leaves behind a loving family who will continue to honor his legacy: his siblings Linda, Richard, and James, along with his adored nieces, Rachel and Grace.

Jerry's life was a testament to the love and joy one can bring to others. His music, friendship, and unwavering positivity will forever resonate in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him. As we remember Jerry, we celebrate a life well-lived and the everlasting impact he made on the lives he touched. No public services are planned at this time.
