Ty Brandon Andersen, 42, born December 29, 1983, of Wellsville, Utah, passed away on March 12, 2026.
Ty was born in Logan, Utah, and grew up in Hyrum, Utah, the son of Brad and Tammy Andersen. He built a life centered on hard work, love, and the outdoors.
He was a loving and devoted husband to Rebecca Leikis Andersen and a proud father to his two sons, Tuff and Tate Andersen, who were the light of his life. Ty and Rebecca knew each other in school, but life took them in different directions. Years later, they both returned home for a time, where they reconnected, fell in love, and built a beautiful life together. Though they once thought children might not be possible, they were blessed with two miracle boys who meant everything to them.
Ty spent the majority of his life working in construction and electrical trades. He took great pride in his work and always gave his best effort, earning the respect of those around him.
He was an avid hunter and fisherman and spent several years working as a hunting guide, doing what he truly loved. Ty had a passion for teaching others- whether it was hunting, fishing, archery, or shooting- and found great joy in sharing his knowledge and experiences.
Ty will be remembered for his big heart, his willingness to help anyone in need, and his ability to make others laugh. He loved deeply and fully, and those who knew him felt that love.
He is survived by his wife, Rebecca; his sons, Tuff and Tate; his parents, Brad and Tammy Andersen; siblings Brandy Olson, Chad Andersen, Krista Lindsay, Kimberly Andersen and their spouses and children. He is also survived by his in-laws Dave and Debbie Leikis and many other extended family and friends who will miss him dearly.
