Tyler Welch Divine, Jr., age 54 died March 19, 2024, in Franklin, TN. Tyler was born and raised in Myrtle Beach, SC and was a graduate of the College of Charleston. He followed his family to Franklin, TN in 1999 where he explored his love of music and outdoor activities. Tyler was an avid world traveler and nature enthusiast. He traveled to many countries due to his love of history and culture. He was a graduate of the NOLS outdoor leadership school in Alaska. He was a skilled mountain biker and traveled often to Whistler, Canada to ride some of his favorite trails. His love of his dogs and dedication to their care and treatment is a very special memory of his life.
He leaves behind family and friends who loved him immensely including his sisters Miriam "Twinks" Welch Divine and Kathleen Welch Divine; his nephews Cason, John Harris, and Sidney; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to the Grand Strand Humane Society.
A witness to the resurrection service will be at the McMillian-Small Chapel in Myrtle Beach on Saturday May 11th at 1pm. The burial at Ocean Woods Memorial Cemetery will follow the service.
