It is with great sadness we say goodbye to Tyler Martin Greening, beloved son, brother, grandson, uncle, and friend. Tyler passed away on Sunday, August 31, 2025, at the age of 34.
Born on April 28, 1991, just one day before his mother's birthday, being one of her greatest gifts. Tyler was the sunshine of his parent's lives, Brian Dale Greening and Marni Powell. From the beginning, he was a vibrant soul-full of energy and spunk. He was the first grandchild on both sides of the family and quickly became a favorite, loved for his witty sense of humor, and gentle heart.
Tyler adored his sisters more than anything, Hannah Greening and Lexi Coles. He had a deep love for his dog, Yoshi. From the day he was born, Tyler held a special place in his mother's heart-and she in his. Tyler knew that he could always count on her no matter what. He will always be "my sunshine." He had a special connection with his Grandma Evelyn, whose love and support meant the world to him.
A perfectionist by heart, Tyler took pride in his appearance and everything he did. He was a hard worker and highly skilled in construction and finish carpentry and always dreamed of starting a business with his father. Tyler loved baseball, golfing, and spending time at the family cabin where he found great peace. Most of all he loved watching sports with his dad.
Tyler's greatest passion was music. He loved everything about it-singing, writing, and creating. He was constantly remixing songs into his own unique style, and music was his true form of expression. He was always spitting out a rap. Music was more than a hobby for Tyler; it was the heartbeat of who he was.
Tyler was a very spiritual man. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and enjoyed researching and learning about his beliefs.
Tyler's body endured more than most could imagine, and in the end, the toll of his pain and injuries led him home. Yet through it all, he faced each day with strength and courage. Our hearts are broken by his absence; however, we have found peace in knowing that he is free from his pain and suffering.
Tyler is survived by his mother, Marni Powell Greening; his father, Brian Dale Greening; his sisters, Hannah Greening, and Lexi Coles; his Grandma Evelyn Hunter; Grandpa Mike Money, his nieces; Kelani and Kaliyah, nephew; Cassius, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will miss him dearly.
Tyler- we love you "Bigger than the sky" forever and ever!
