Dr Tyler Seanoa Taumoli

Dr. Tyler Seanoa Taumoli, 47, passed away unexpectedly from a medical issue, resulting in a car accident near his office the morning of October 17th, 2023. A loving husband, son, brother and uncle, Tyler uplifted everyone around him with his amazing smile, laughter and love. A gifted healer and friend, Tyler had an ability to just make everyone feel special. Simply put, he was the best of us.
Tyler was born on July 22, 1976 in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. He lived his childhood years in Richmond, British Columbia. Tyler earned a college scholarship playing basketball, served an LDS mission in California, and then moved to Utah to continue his education. He completed his degree in Exercise Sports Science at the University of Utah and then graduated from Parker University with a Doctorate in Chiropractic. After gaining chiropractic experience working in Texas and Utah, he established Utah Chirosport in West Jordan, Utah where he was able to share his talent and serve so many for years. He devoted countless hours to studying and refining his techniques, ensuring the utmost care for his patients. All while giving hope for healing, to all he treated.
Shortly after moving to Utah, Tyler met Lani, the absolute love of his life. They married on December 30th, 2000, in the San Diego Temple. They spent most of their twenty three plus years of marriage living in Utah, but also lived in California and Texas, where they made many dear and lifelong friends. For many years they lived either together or next door to Lani's sister Leialoha, her husband Adam, and their three children. While Tyler and Lani never had biological children, these years gave them the opportunity to find a bond with Chloe, Colin and Wyatt that made them feel like their own. Tyler always viewed their relationship as one of his greatest gifts from God. He cherished the fact that Chloe and Colin even got to work alongside him and Lani at the clinic they built together. Tyler also loved his dogs Buster, Bear, and Molly.
Tyler is survived by his wife Lani, parents Beverly and Visa Taumoli, siblings Wade (Sarah) Taumoli, Kim (George) Westerlund, Tia (Johnny) Ainu'u, Kelsey (Dan) Petersen, and mother & father-in-law Laurie Anne and Ian Pung. Tyler was also an older brother to Lani's five siblings, their spouses, and he was the favorite uncle to twenty five nieces and nephews from both sides of their family.

Funeral services will be Saturday Nov 4th, 2023. They will be located at the LDS chapel 12737 South 6000 West, Herriman, UT 84096. The viewing will be from 11am-1pm, and the service from 1-2:30pm. All are welcome.
