Tyrone Dowell

Tyrone Dowell, age 56, of Warren, Ohio, passed away on January 22, 2026.

Tyrone was born on November 3, 1970, in Warren, Ohio, the son of James Lowery and Esther Dowell. He was a lifelong resident of the Warren area and resided on Highland Avenue, S.W.

He worked for many years as a laborer and landscaper, taking pride in hard work and providing for himself and his family.

In his free time, Tyrone enjoyed watching western movies, listening to R&B and hip-hop music, and spending time with family. He especially loved his nephews and nieces, who meant more to him than anything.

Tyrone is survived by his sons, Vaness Dowell, and Michael Dowell; his brothers, Aaron Dowell, Craig Dowell. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, including Christopher Dowell, Kareem Dowell, Gerald Jones, and Carlos Jones.

In addition to his parents, Tyrone is preceded in death by his sisters, Vanessa Elkins and Sherryll Dowell; and his brothers, Scott Dowell and Jerimi Flaningan; and his beloved niece, Salena Jones.
