Tyrone Allen Honeysuckle, 54, of Perryville, AR went to be with Jesus on Monday, March 17, 2025. He was born December 31, 1970, in Little Rock, AR to Kenneth and Delores (Doughty) Honeysuckle. He attended and graduated from Bryant High School in Bryant, AR. He married Gwen (Eubanks) Honeysuckle on May 21, 2005. They lived in the Houston/Perryville area.
As a lineman for various companies, there are countless stories of bravery and even life-saving moments that are a testament to his caring nature. There wasn't much he wouldn't do to help others. Most of us have never met a more giving guy.
You never saw "Ty" that you didn't see a smile. Even on tough days, his smile would light up a room. His dry wit always brought a laugh. An avid hunter and angler, he spent most of his time outdoors. "Have you checked the oil.?" Was a common question every time he saw his daughters. "When are we going hunting next?" Was a question Cody could always count on.
Like his father before him, Ty enjoyed the occasional round of golf. He even tried to teach his girls how to play. He enjoyed going and hearing Cody's band, "Lame Johnny" perform. One might say he was a well-rounded individual.
Although he made the deadline for a tax deduction the day he was born, he was always late to anything, and not by just a few minutes!!!!
Tyrone is preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Carlos Honeysuckle of Little Rock, AR, Mr. & Mrs. Luther Doughty of Houston, AR, and his father, Kenneth Honeysuckle of Houston, AR. He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Gwen Honeysuckle, his son Cody Allen Wallace of Little Rock, AR, daughters Marisa Chloe Honeysuckle of Little Rock, AR, Taylor Mae Honeysuckle of Perryville, AR, and Jade Nicole Hayes of Perryville, AR, his mother, Delores (Doughty) Honeysuckle of Houston, AR, his sister Connie (Honeysuckle) Raper of Rose Bud, AR as well as numerous nieces and nephews and a house full of loving dogs.
Friends and family will gather on Friday, March 21, 2025, from 3:00 – 4:00 p.m. to reminisce with a celebration service honoring the life of Tyrone following from 4:00 – 5:00 p.m. at Antioch Landmark Missionary Baptist Church, 1936 Highway 216, Houston, AR 72070. There will be no following interment.
The family would prefer heirloom seeds or plants in lieu of flowers.

Ty was one of the best people I have ever met. I remember the first time we met, we were instant friends. He and Gwen were always there for me when I needed a place to stay or shoulder to cry on. They comforted me and made me feel loved. My condolences go out to Ty's family and friends. God truly took one of his Angels home. He will always be remembered and loved. Too Gwen I'm so sorry, and I love you so much.

So sad to hear this news. I ran into Ty a year or so ago. He was one the coolest guys I went to school with and hadn't changed.
