Shelby May Meyers, born on July 27, 1992, in Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away on June 2, 2025. A devoted and compassionate caregiver, Shelby dedicated her life to the healthcare profession, earning her Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license from the Arkansas Health Center. Most recently, she provided heartfelt care as a CNA at Crown Point Assisted Living, where she worked tirelessly, often clocking in 50-60 hours a week, always putting the needs of her patients first. Her commitment to her work exemplified her immense love for those she cared for; she treated them as family, forming deep and meaningful bonds and relationships.

Shelby was a graduate of Bryant High School and was known for her vibrant personality that endeared her to many. She had an infectious sense of humor, was incredibly self-aware, and possessed a large heart that welcomed everyone. Shelby never met a stranger; she had a remarkable ability to connect with people from all walks of life, making every encounter special.

Family was of the utmost importance to Shelby. She maintained close relationships with her parents, Michael (Wendy) Meyers and Tissha (Jerry Fulmer) Meyers, her siblings, Brittany Meyers, Taylor (Justin Cagle) Meyers, and Brandon Meyers. Shelby took great pride in being an adoring aunt to her nieces and nephews: Madison, Ayden, Colton, Bennett, and Rosalie. Known fondly as "Lou Lou," she was a shining light in their lives, showering them with love and affection. Her relationship with her fur baby, Minnie-Moo Mittens, further showcased her nurturing spirit.

Shelby is also survived by many other close family members and friends who will miss her dearly. She will be remembered not only for her selflessness and dedication to her patients but also for the indelible marks she left on her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her beloved grandmother, LaDonna Cole, her grandparents, Gene and Reba Meyers, and her cousin, Marcus Purvis.

A Celebration of Life in honor of Shelby May Meyers is scheduled for June 13, 2025, at Smith Family Funeral Home in Benton, Arkansas, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
