Obituary of Tyrone Cornell White, Sr.
Our hearts are filled with both joy and sorrow in the home going of our beloved Tyrone Cornell White, Sr. affectionately known as Skeet of Dundalk, Maryland. He peacefully transitioned under the care of Gilchrist Care of Hunt Valley, Maryland on Thursday, March 27, 2025.
He was born on August 6, 1958, to the late Simon Cottman and Biological mother Jacqueline White. Lola Beachman (Foster mother).
Tyrone attended Westover Elementary School and graduated from Washington High School both in Princess Anne, Maryland.
He was employed at various jobs, including Somerset County as a laborer, Perdue Fanns in Salisbury, Maryland for 24 years as a maintenance jack driver.
His favorite things were sports, LA Lakers basketball team, LA Rams football team, and watching westerns. His favorite gospel song was Peace Be Still. He loved all R&B music. Michael Jackson was his favorite artist. He loved all types of watches.
He was preceded in death by his father, Simon Cottman, maternal grandparents, John Cottman and Bessie Square, and William and Edna White. 1 sister, Barbara Ann White, and 2 brothers Michael and Edgar White.
Precious memories of Tyrone will be cherished by his wife, Faith White of 46 years and his 3 children. Timika (Stephan Johnson), Tyrone (Diana White), Damian (Chanel Williams). 6 grandchildren: NyAsia White, Jaliah Sampson, Amarah White, Jaxon Williams, Tyreke White, Jordyn Williams. 4 sisters Deborah (Robert Horsey), Gail (George Horsey), Wanda (Barry Conway), Vonda (Randy Conaway) Foster; brother Robert Handy Sr. Extended family, brothers and sisters-in-law.
On Friday, April 18, 2025, a service for Mr. White will take place at Vaughn Greene Chapel – WEST (5151 Baltimore National Pike 21229), where the family will receive friends from 2:30 – 3:00 PM with services to follow.
