Ms. Una Vaughan, age 89 of Clarksville, TN passed away Friday, July 7, 2023 at Fieldstone Place Assisted Living, Clarksville, TN. She was born September 26, 1933 in Clarksville, TN, daughter of the late Aaron Maynard 'Jack' Vaughan and Beatrice Blane Vaughan.
Una retired from Acme Boot Company and later worked as a caregiver for many, including her aunts. Una was a wonderful cook, with pecan pies and fried chicken being her specialties. She loved flowers and the creek that ran beside the Indian Mound Methodist Church. She was a devout Christian woman who set an example to her family. She was a devoted and loving sister, aunt, and friend who will be missed by many.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Vera Crain and brother, Aaron Gilbert Vaughan.
Survivors include her brother, Cecil Vaughan, nieces and nephews, Sandy Ostdiek (Matt), Shelia Miller (Chris), Sherry Crockarell (Ricky), Burton Vaughan (Shannon), Maureen Griffin (Kenneth), Keith Vaughan (Tammy), seven great nephews, five great nieces, seven great-great nephews, and six great-great nieces.
Visitation for Una will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at Anglin Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 1:00 pm on Wednesday with Bro. Garrette Milliken officiating. Burial will be in the Seay Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Todd Crockarell, Blane Crockarell, Hollis Crockarell, Rick Crockarell, Burton Vaughan, Kenneth Griffin, Matt Ostdiek, Chris Miller, and Keith Vaughan.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Seay Cemetery, 134 Old School Rd. Indian Mound, TN 37079.
Arrangements are entrusted to Anglin Funeral Home, Dover, TN and online condolences may be made at anglinfuneralhome.com.
