Valerie Jean Couture

ENOSBURG FALLS – Valerie Couture, lovingly referred to as Val, passed away on February 10, 2024, at the age of 55.

She was born on December 27, 1968 to Larry Robtoy and the late Donna (Peaslee) Scott.

Val was a “dandy” of a woman who truly lived life to the fullest. With an infectious smile that could brighten even the darkest days, she brought joy to the hearts of those around her. Her adventurous spirit was evident in her love for camping, where she found solace in the beauty of nature. She also loved riding motorcycles and side by sides.

One of her true passions was decorating for Halloween and other holidays. She possessed a creative flair that made her home a beacon of festive cheer, captivating the neighborhood with her imaginative displays. Her dedication to celebration extended beyond decorating, she loved to attend costume parties every year.

Val had an undeniable talent in the kitchen. Her family and friends were lucky enough to savor her mouth-watering dishes, which she lovingly prepared. Whether it was a cozy family meal or a grand gathering, Val's food always brought people together, creating lasting memories.

Val's warm nature and zest for life touched the lives of all who knew her. Her memory will forever be cherished by her husband, Shaun Couture of Enosburg Falls; her children, Mercedes Fellows and her husband Richard, and Jaxon Couture; grandchildren, Brantley, Abby, Ava, Richie, Ryan, and Charlie; her father, Larry Robtoy and his wife Anelda; her sister, Carrie Rheaume and her husband Mitch; mother and father-in-law, Norman & Donna Couture; sister-in-law, Kelly Gervais and her husband Paul; step-siblings, Earl Machia and his wife Betty, Kevin Machia and his wife Melissa, and Jamie Machia and his wife Darci; and several nieces & nephews. Val was predeceased by her daughter, Danielle Juaire; her mother, Donna Scott and her husband Randy; her sister, Debbie Robtoy; and her nephew, Tyler Rheaume.

Friends & family are invited to Valerie’s life celebration to include visitation on Monday, February 19, 2024 from 4-7:00 PM at the Goss-Spears Life Celebration Home, 96 Dickinson Ave., Enosburg Falls. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Goss-Spears Life Celebration Home.
