Valerie Gallegos

Valerie Ann Gallegos, 55 of Logan, New Mexico passed away peacefully on June 9, 2025, in her home. Valerie was born on August 2, 1969, at Clovis Memorial Hospital.
Valerie was a long-time resident of Logan, NM where she enjoyed raising her three children and attending all their school functions and sporting events. She loved every minute she could get with all her grandchildren. She enjoyed doing arts and crafts and being able to attend every expo/craft fair that she could make it to. She also enjoyed cruising around to her oldies music and going to the American Legion to visit with friends. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary for 25 years.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents; Eloy and Rafaelita Arguello, grandparents; Ed and Mae Gallegos, uncle; Larry Arguello, uncle; Frank Gallegos, and aunt; Bea Ritter.
Valerie is survived by her three children: Tamara Butler of Amarillo, TX, Jessica Aguilera of Logan, NM, and Andrew Aguilera of Houston, TX, two sisters; Rachel Gallegos of Clovis, NM and Heather Martinez of Tucumcari, NM, aunt Nora Arguello of Amarillo, TX, three nephews; Josh Gallegos, Rylan Calbert and Jacob Gallegos, six grandchildren; Elexus Vest Kamdyn Aguilera, Aaron Butler, Kaleb Sanchez, Eloy Aguilera and Isaiah Aguilera.
The family will have a private ceremony, and a celebration of life will be held later.
