Van Jeter Obituary
Van Clark Jeter "Jete" was called home on Thursday, February 16, 2023 at the strong age of 70. Van was born in Columbus, Ohio on Tuesday, May 13, 1952 to Andy and Ariebell Jeter, 4th of their 6 children. He graduated from Linden McKinley High School and continued on to receive his college certificate in Business.
On Wednesday, December 28, 1988, he married Brenda Jeter and on Tuesday, August 28, 1990 they welcomed their only child, Brittany Jeter. Van ensured Brittany received the best of the world and everything he could offer her. Their daughter was/is his pride and joy.
Those who know Jete will miss the loyal Cleveland Browns fan, laughing jokester, supportive friend, and selfless hero. Van's light will shine on for generations to come through his daughter (Brittany) as well as his loved ones: (brother) Larry Jeter (Yvonne), (brother) Bruce Jeter (Louella), (sister) Wendy Watson (Wyatt III), as well as a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and significant friends Howard Hamilton, Wayne Pruitt, Dale Boyce, Jeff Durham, Paula Smith, Gary Carter, Kim Moss, and Mike Moncrief.
Welcoming Van home are (parents) Andy and Aribelle Jeter, (sister) Nora Lee Jeter-Bethea, (sister) Gail Ann Jeter.
