Van O'Neal Webb Sr., 88 of Ermine, passed away Thursday, August 21, 2025, at his residence. Van was the son of the late Isom Bert and Martha Haynes Webb. He was the widower of his wife of 68 years: Betty Jo Goodman Webb. Van retired as pastor of Peoples Fundamental Baptist Church in Dunham, Ky. after 57 years of service. Surviving are 2 sons: Van O'Neal (Teresa) Webb Jr. of Ermine and Jimmy Bert (Dana) Webb of Florence, Alabama; 1 daughter: Pam (Erbie) Pratt of Ermine; 7 grandchildren: Heather, Josh, Cory, Jason, Monica, Ray, and Taneisha; 15 great grandchildren: Kayla, Gracie, Jonavon, Jathan, Kylie, McKaila, Amberlie Jo, Adeline, Aurelia, J.C., Jacob, Tobias, Tytus, Samuel, and Harrison. 1 great great grandchild: Jasper. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Jessica and Molly Moberlly for all their loving care and support. Van was preceded in death by 4 brothers: Caleb Webb, Wiley Webb, James Webb, Carl "Cossie" Webb; 6 sisters: Leona Addington, Louise Addington, Edna Mae Combs, Elsie Adams, Lettie McSlarrow, and Nannie Lois Pease. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 O'clock P.M. on Sunday, August 31, 2025, at the Peoples Fundamental Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Adams Cemetery at Ermine. Visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers donations are suggested to the Peoples Fundamental Baptist Church.
