Vanessa Blevins Obituary
Vanessa Irene Blevins, 58, of Coal City, passed away Friday, April 28, 2023.
Born February 10, 1965 in Beckley, she was the daughter of Daphne Elvira Shumate McKinney of Coal city and the late Clyde Earl McKinney.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Eugene Blevins; brother, Jimmy Johnson and biological mother, Jo Ann Johnson.
Vanessa is survived by her mother, Daphne Elvira McKinney of Coal City; sister, Cindy Rutherford and husband Jimmy of Mt. Vernon, OH; aunt (sister) Vickie Justice of midway; special friend (sister) Kim Meadows; god child, Karma Raines as well as a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 2, 2023 in the Calfee Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elgood Cemetery at Elgood, WV. Friends may visit with the family one hour to the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
