Vanessa Marie Crotser

Vanessa Marie Crotser, age 40 of Newaygo, passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on Thursday, October 2, 2025. She was born on March 29, 1985 in Fremont, Michigan to Martin & Joyce (Carlson) Crotser. Vanessa was a devoted CNA Caregiver for over 10 years. She enjoyed fishing, camping, hiking, and she was a huge Detroit Lions fan. Vanessa was also a devoted mother, and loved her grandbabies. She is survived by 3 children: Collin Crotser, Aiden & Makayla Ward; and 3 grandchildren: Sage & River Crotser, as well as a grandbaby on the way. She is also survived by her parents, Martin & Joyce Crotser; 1 brother, Eric Crotser; and by her grandma Story. The family asks that you wear Detroit Lions apparel to the Funeral Service if you would like to, which will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 11, 2025 at Northland Church of Christ in Grant with Pastor Michael Libby officiating. Visitation will also be at the church from 10-11 AM on Saturday. Interment will be at Garfield Township Cemetery.
