Lee was a spiritual man, and over his lifetime served in several churches, including Prairie Baptist, Wakeshma Baptist, West Leroy Bible, and Crossroads Missionary Church. He is currently a member of the Chapman Memorial Church of the Nazarene in Vicksburg.Lee enjoyed hunting, motorcycling, caring for his animals, and had a knack for finding the right quote from scripture for a particular situation and that would reflect his strong family values. He also enjoyed firework displays; the bigger and louder the better!

She survives along with four daughters, Wendy (Rob) Mohr of Scotts, Gayle (Ross) Porter of Marcellus, Holley (John) Cousins of Vicksburg, and Shawn Wood of Mendon; seven grandchildren, Amber Alderson, Clayton (Natalie) Mohr, Cody (Amber) Cousins, Shane Cousins, Nathaniel Porter, Zackery Porter, and Aidan Jones; two great-grandchildren, Evilynn Mohr and Isaac Mohr; two sisters, Janice (Wilbur) Gose and Martha (Bill) Reenders.
