Vanessa A. Pettengill

Norwich – Vanessa A. Pettengill, 45, of Norwich, died suddenly on May 7, 2025. She was born in Lawton, Oklahoma on July 20, 1979 to Marie L. Honyotski Jollymore of New Hampshire and Dennis W. Pettengill, Jr. of North Carolina.
Vanessa was a loving caring person. She loved everyone, including her cats. Everyone who knew her felt an instant connection to her positivity and love for life. She loved butterflies and loved to work on crafts. She had a huge collection of clothes and shoes and she always wanted to look her best. She has been described in the family of having the hugest heart. She would give you the clothes off her back if you needed them more than her. She especially loved her children and always put them before herself.
She also loved her garden. She spent many hours on her garden every summer to provide the freshest vegetables for her family
She is survived by her children, Marcelino Paul Hernandez and Alexandra Marie Pettengill;
husband Rene Rojas, Jr.; stepchildren, Tiana unique Rojas, Skylah Marie Rojas, Jovavanni Xavier Rojas, Teresa Destiny Rojas; paternal grandmother, Jane Packer; siblings, Kerri Jollymore Warenda, Jake Jollymore, Zach Pettengill, Samantha Pettengill; aunts, Barbara Holstein, Lori Honyotski, Diane Long, Lisa Dreesen, Andrea Willard, Sandra Villanueva, Roseangela Villanueva; uncles, Peter Honyotski, Mark Pettengill, Eric Pettengil, Pablo Villanueva; mother in law, Jacqueline Villanueva; sisters in laws, Marlene Rojas, Whitney Lopez, Jacqueline Lopez, Natasha Villanueva, Christina Jollymore; brother in law Robert Warenda; significant others, Anita Pettengill.
She was predeceased by her paternal grandfather, Dennis W Pettengill, Sr.; maternal grandparents, Theresa Honyotski and Joseph Honyotski; siblings, Kerri Lee Morill, Katherine and Charlotte Jollymore.
