Vanessa Jean Root, affectionately known as Ness or Vi, passed away at her home on January 4, 2025. Born on January 8, 2004, in Springfield, MA, Ness was a beacon of light and love to all who knew her. She was a cherished daughter to Tatyana and Jason Root, a beloved sister to Emily Root, and an adored aunt to Athena Root Collins. Her family circle extended to her caring grandfather Richard Root, her uncles Jeff Root, Vitaly Vlasyuk, Alex Vlasyuk, and Ivan Vlasyuk, and her aunts Leslie Mihlek and Valentina Romanchenko. Ness also leaves behind her cousins Brian Root and Ashley Fisher, who will fondly remember her vibrant spirit.

Ness's passion for life was evident. She pursued her education with vigor, completing her studies at Real Estate School. Her academic achievements were only the beginning of a life marked by her dedication to helping others. Ness's career as a personal trainer and massage therapist allowed her to touch the lives of many, guiding them towards healthier and more fulfilling lifestyles. Her work was not just a job; it was a manifestation of her desire to make a positive impact on the world.

Her interests were as diverse as they were profound. Ness was a fervent advocate for animal welfare, dedicating her time and resources to saving those without a voice. Her commitment to helping people extended beyond her professional life, as she was always ready to lend a hand or an ear to anyone in need. Fitness was not just a career for Ness; it was a way of life. She found joy in working out, running, and sharing her knowledge as a fitness trainer.

Ness's love for God was the cornerstone of her existence, guiding her actions and her purpose. She was an avid reader and writer, finding solace and excitement in the pages of books. Her artistic talents shined through in her drawings, and her love for nature and traveling allowed her to explore the beauty of the world. Ness's enthusiasm for real estate and her skill as a massage therapist were further expressions of her multifaceted personality.

Those who knew Ness remember her as loving, adventurous, and passionate young lady. She approached every day with a zest for life and an unwavering commitment to her beliefs and dreams. Her legacy is one of kindness, courage, and an unrelenting pursuit of happiness, not just for herself but for everyone she encountered.

Vanessa Jean Root's life is a testament to the power of love and the strength of the human spirit. Her memory will be treasured and kept alive in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to have been touched by her remarkable presence. Ness's journey on earth has concluded, but the echoes of her laughter, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her spirit will continue to inspire and comfort those she leaves behind.
