Vanessa Liane Skinner-Chischilly, age 27, of Florence, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, May 18, 2025. Born on July 24, 1997, in Edgewood, Vanessa was the beloved daughter of Nathan and Susan Chischilly.
She is survived by her parents; her dear son, Norman; and her cherished siblings, Heidi and Jacob. Though her time here was far too short, Vanessa left an unforgettable mark on the hearts of those who knew her.
Vanessa was known for her radiant smile and contagious laugh—she had a remarkable way of lighting up any room she entered. Her joyful spirit and unwavering kindness made her a treasured friend, daughter, mother, and sister.
Vanessa enjoyed spending time outside, especially kayaking, where she could relax and take in the beauty around her. She had a special love for Halloween and looked forward to it every year—whether it was dressing up, decorating, or sharing spooky fun with others. Music was also a big part of her life—her days were often filled with songs that reflected her vibrant energy and free-spirited nature.
Vanessa’s life was filled with both challenges and beauty, and she faced each day with resilience, humor, and a heart full of love. She was a light in many people’s lives, and her memory will continue to shine brightly in those who knew and loved her.
