Velma Fayrene Malone, 84, of Amarillo, passed peacefully on December 29, 2025.

She loved playing cards with her friends and especially hanging out with the grandkids. Velma was so fond of all of the friends she made when she moved to Amarillo, and she kept them close to her heart, a lesson she instilled in everyone she met; keep your friends and family close.
