Graveside services for Vennessa Renae Smith, 41, of Gilmer, will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, March 1, 2024, at Sand Hill Cemetery with Pastor Eric Trimble officiating. The family will receive friends an hour prior at Sand Hill Baptist Church.
Vennessa was born on April 26, 1982, in Longview, Texas to David Klotz and Ruth Hughes and passed from this life on February 26, 2024, in Gilmer, Texas.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Devon Klotz, Kya Boline, and Jacoby Klotz; father, David Klotz; mother, Ruth Hughes; grandmother, Marilyn Hughes; grandfather, Thomas Klotz; brother, Jason Harris and her grandchildren, Addisyn Klotz and Hartlynn Isaac.

Vennessa was my great niece and a very sweet, precious lady. She looked after her grandmother and took very good care of her. Vennessa is now in God's arm and will never suffer pain anymore. We will miss you sweetie.
