Verline Brower Folwell

Verline Brower Folwell age 89 passed away peacefully on December 8th. She was born on August 13th, 1936, in High Point, NC to her parents, Reverend O.L. and Ruth Brower. She attended Jamestown High School and graduated in 1954. She was proceeded in death by her husband Jerry in 2015. Verline was a resident of Liberty NC for many years as she and her husband raised their family. She enjoyed working and was employed for 30 years with Brower's Furniture Company as office administrator. She also worked 25 years as office manager for her nephew Keith at Young's Plumbing. Verline was outgoing and had a wonderful sense of humor. She never met a stranger, and she had a great ability to make people smile. She will be missed by all those that knew her, but we have a great hope for we know that we don't grieve as unbelievers might, because of our faith in Jesus' death and resurrection, we will see her again. Verline was a lifetime member of Hickory Chapel Wesleyan Church. She was active in many areas of ministry and loved the Lord. She is survived by an older brother Harold Brower. She was a wonderful Mom to three sons, Darren (Alison), Jeff (Cindy), and Brian (Misty). Seven grandchildren, Sarah, Joshua, Megan, Caleb, Mason, Emma and Anna and nine great grandchildren along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Family and Friends are invited to Hickory Chapel Wesleyan Church, 301 Hickory Chapel Rd., High Point NC on Saturday December 13th to honor the life of Verline Brower Folwell. Visitation 11-12:15pm, Service at 12:30pm.
