Verna Cannaday, age 80, born in Norwalk, California in 1945, raised in Lubbock, Texas where she met her husband, Lynn and was a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico where she passed away on September 8, 2025. Verna is survived by her sons, Alan Cannaday, Gary Cannaday and wife, Victoria, Vance Cannaday and wife, Alicia Christensen; grandchildren, Shalan, Ayla, Christopher, Austin, and Bryana; great-grandchildren, Morghan, Madilynn, Troy, and Angelina. She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-five years, Lynn Cannaday; son, Ricky Cannaday, son Troy Cannaday, and daughter in-law, Shelly Cannaday; her parents, Cecil Thomas and Imeree Sherley. Her proudest achievement in life was raising her five sons and will be dearly missed. Services for Verna are pending.
