Verna Ruth DeVito, age 90, passed away on Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at Memorial Hospital, Marysville, OH. Longtime member of Saint Aloysius Catholic Church. She retired from both AT&T and Meijer. Verna loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, travelling and watching her cowboy shows. And no one will ever forget her favorite line, "So There!" She will be missed. Preceded in death by, husband, Guy DeVito, son, Guy Devito Jr., grandson, Guy Devito III, brother, Charlie Voss, sister, Florence McCarty. Survived by, children, Kim (Steve) Magaw, Rocky (Pam) DeVito and Michelle Groeniger, daughter in law, Vicky DeVito, 13 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, other family and friends. Private family service and entombment will be held at Saint Joseph Cemetery. Arrangements have been completed with JERRY SPEARS FUNERAL HOME, 2693 W. Broad St.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking donations be made to the Central Ohio Diabetes Association, 1699 W. Mound Street, Columbus, OH, 43223.

I was truly blessed to have the best Mother-n-law for 51 years. You always made me laugh and you always made me feel like family. Until we meet again I am rejoicing that you are with your husband, son, grandson, Mother and great grandson.
