Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Steven Eugene Johnson (Tamera) of New Johnsonville, TN, Michael Lynn Greer (Debbie) of Paris, TN, and Timothy Scott Greer (Rebecca) of Memphis, TN; grandchildren, Thomas Greer (Hannah) and Addy Byars (Monty); 4 great grandchildren; and twin sister, Lorraine Steven's (Al) of Lyndon, KS.
Along with her parents, Verna is preceded in death by her brother, Frank Nettleton; and sisters, Donna Jones and Joanne Tipton.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. at Lyndon Cemetery in Lyndon, KS.
In lieu of flowers and in honor of Verna's life, the family has requested that donation be made to your local animal shelter.
