Vernon Brewer of High Ridge, Missouri, was born September 24, 1934 in Annapolis, Missouri to Tearl and Mable (nee Kemp) Brewer and entered into rest Friday, November 14, 2025 in Fenton, Missouri at the age of 91 years.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Tearl and Mable (nee Kemp) Brewer; daughter, Linda Hollmann; siblings, Wilma Kelley, Lorene Kemp, Wanda Mehaffy, and Bernice Middleton.

He is survived by his loving wife of 73 years, Grace (nee Roberts) Brewer; daughter, Karen (Jeff) Bonacker; grandchildren, Lisa (Randy) Pryor, Amanda (Bryan) Schnable, Daniel (Alexis) Bonacker, Rachael Bonacker, and LuAnn (Dillon) Hires; great-grandchildren, Jacob Pryor, Andrew (Paige) Schnable, Trevor Schnable, Hunter Schnable, Barrett Bonacker, Mabel Bonacker, Lane Hires, and soon to arrive baby Bonacker; sister, Norma Hawkins; close friend, Donnie Brown; along with numerous other extended family and friends.

Vernon worked as a dump truck driver for more than 35 years and took great pride in his job. He loved being outdoors, especially when he was deer hunting or spending time at his farm. The Black River was one of his favorite places to visit.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 20, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. until the start of the Funeral Ceremony at 11:00 a.m. at Faith Community Church, 4824 Scottsdale Road, House Springs, Missouri 63051. Interment will immediately follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Cedar Hill, Missouri.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made on behalf of Vernon to Faith Community Church.
