Vernon Gomes Obituary

He was born June 10, 1974, in Fort Myers, Florida, to the late Vernon and Linda (McCoon) Gomes.
He went to Sanilac ISD until he was 21 and after that he went to Personal Independent Center in Caro until his death.
Vernon enjoyed being outside and watching tractors/big equipment out in the fields or driving by the house. He loved watching his favorite show, Scooby-Doo, and spending time with friends and family. Vernon especially loved making his great nieces and nephew laugh and smile when he visited them. His favorite two holidays were Christmas and 4th of July. But most of all, Vernon love spending time with his companion - his dog Bear!
He is survived by his brother James (Rose) Gomes of Marlette; two nieces Tiffany Gomes of Marlette, and Jennifer (Karl) Holmberg of Deckerville; step nephew Kenneth (Marisa) Pierce III of Kingston; step great nieces and nephew Eralin, Ellie, and Everhett.
He was preceded in death by his parents Vernon and Linda Gomes.
A Circle of Life dinner will be held at a later time.
Memorials may be donated to United Hospice Service Aspire of Marlette.
