Born in Kingston September 30, 1950 he is the son of the late Vernon J. and Eleanor (Perry)
Smith-Cogswell.
Vernon was employed by Hannaford Supermarket.
He is survived by His brothers, Clarence Smith, Garry Smith and Jay Smith. Step daughter; Donna Banks, nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to his parents Vernon was predeceased by his wife, Alinda Smith and sister Dawn Staccio.
