I have very fond memories of Veronica (Ronnie). When I was born my parents asked her to be my Godmother. I spent numerous times with her as I grew older and she was very caring and generous to me. I truly missed our times together when she moved to the USA. You will always be in my heart, RIP, love Edward Rayner.❤

Lorna and Jennifer,
So sorry for your loss. I remember you girls coming to stay with her and Doug in the summer. We lived on the same estate near Cleveland. Cherish your memories

Ive known Veronica since she married Douglas Little and moved onto the farm I grew up on near Cleveland, Ohio. My brother Andrew and I spent many hours playing cards, walking dogs, getting ice cream etc. as we grew up. They were the friends that I showed my 1st day of school outfit and my 1st car. Then when I got married and had children, we would make our yearly trip to Vass, NC to see them on their own farm. One year we even were gifted the cutest dachshund from a litter of puppies that had been born there! Veronica was always so kind to us, making sure she had everything we liked to eat when we visited and planned fun excursions for us. My daughter and I made a special trip just last June to see them both. We are so glad that we did! She will be so missed! Condolences to her family and friends.

We the Geoffrey Beatty family are very sad to learn of Aunt Ronnie's sudden death. She was the younger sister of our father Geoff Beatty Jr. She was full of fun. As a pre-teen my older sister Jennifer and I spent week with Aunt Ronnie and Uncle Doug at their home near Cleveland, OH. Aunt Ronnie was like a big sister to us. She took us to amusement parks and would be the one to show us how to put on a sack to slide down a tall slide with "bumps". We enjoyed getting to know Uncle Doug who had a good sense of humour and who liked to tease us. Aunt Ronnie was an accomplished horsewoman/equestrian, lover of pets and an expert knitter and needlepoint-er. She encouraged us to ride horses and do needlepoint. She was a devoted daughter to her mother, Rosamond and father, Geoff Beatty, Sr. We are exchanging our stories of Aunt Ronnie and are thinking of and praying for her dear friends in North Carolina and here in Ontario Canada. We are grateful for her dear friends, as we believe they were like her family members.
