Obituary of Veronica Lujan
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Veronica "Betty" Lujan, born in Las Vegas, NM, March 5, 1935 who passed away on September 15, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends.
She was predeceased by: her husband, Alfonso Jose Crespin; her beloved son, Jose Luis Crespin; her parents, Ernesto and Josefita Lujan; her sisters, Socorro Lujan, Lorraine Garduno, Rose Archuleta, and brother, Roger Lujan.
She is survived by her children, Carlos Crespin, Jose Alfonso Crespin Jr. (Rose), Elizabeth Crespin-Martinez (Charlie), and Angela Crespin-Martinez (Albert); her grandchildren, Jose Alfonso Crespin III, April, Sharon Sonnenberg (Eric), Sarah Montoya (Derrick), Sylvia Miller (Taylor), Richard Sanchez, Angelo Crespin, Taylor Webster-Hersa, Jonathan Crespin (fiancé Megan); her great-grandchildren, Jade, Onyx, Ebony, little Derrick, Andres, Jordan, Iris, Declan, Noah, Nasir, Brad, Dante, Juliette, Faith, and Azariel and little Eric; She is also survived by her sister, Rita Urioste and family; She is also survived by the Garcia Family, Garduno Family, Archuleta Family, Lujan-Kavanaugh Family, Martinez Family, and numerous friends and family.

Veronica was baptized on April 7, 1935, received 6 of the 7 sacraments, devout Catholic who had a strong devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary. Veronica was a loving, hardworking, adventurous, creative, talented, humorous, fun-loving, responsible, dependable, supportive, smart, generous, dancing queen.
A viewing, eulogy, and rosary will be held on Thursday, September 21st, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Riverside Funeral Home (3232 Cerrillos RD, Santa Fe, NM 87507). A funeral mass will be held on Friday, September 22nd, 2023 at 9:00 a.m.at Immaculate Conception Church (811 6th St., Las Vegas, NM 87701). Graveside Services will be conducted at Santa Fe National Cemetery(501 N Guadalupe St, Santa Fe, NM (87501) on Tuesday the 26,2023 at 12:30 p.m., funeral procession to begin at Riverside Funeral Home at 11:30 a.m. with the following serving as Pallbearers:
