Veronica "Roni" Elizabeth Perz, 83 of Hammond, Indiana passed away Friday, June 6, 2025, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. She was born August 1, 1941 in Hammond. Veronica was an optical assistant at the office of Fredric D. Young, MD in Munster, Indiana where she has been described an invaluable, loyal employee for 28 years. On June 24, 1961 she married Edward Joseph Perz, who preceded her in death February 28, 2012. Surviving is her daughter, Lisa (Brad) Meyer, grandchildren, Lauren and Mark Meyer and her Siberian Husky Luna. Private family services will be held for Veronica. Memorial Donations may be made to Research Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer, or ASPCA.org (American Society Prevention of Cruelty to Animals).
