Obituary of Veronica Vera Peters
Veronica Vera Peters, 46, of Winter Haven, Florida passed away February 4, 2022 at Winter Haven Hospital. She was born on January 16, 1976 in the parish of St. John, in the Island of Antigua to Uen Peters and Sylvanie (Benjamin) Peters. She was a Baptist and attended 2nd Baptist Church in Miami, Florida.
Veronica is survived by: Her two daughters, Shene Peters, Winter Haven, Fl., and Michell Perales, two sons, Stephen Peters and Miguel Perales, sisters, Sarah Ann Peters, and Shenell Peters, both of Winter Haven, Fl., brother, Jerry Peters, Island of Antigua, and one grandson, Messiah Benjamin, and god daughter, Ahmi Evans. She was preceded in death by: Her mother Sylvanie Peters.
Veronica loved cooking, throwing parties, and dancing. She also loved collecting hats and she was a very fashionable young lady. The saying "to know someone is to love them", was definitely written for Veronica. She was the most loving person one could ever meet. She loved her children with all her heart and raised them up to be great adults. She had a strong passion for helping people and would help anyone in need.
Veronica brightened up every room she walked in. Her long luxurious dreadlocks were her pride and joy - they were untouchable, literally, she did not like anyone touching her hair and that was a known fact to all. Veronica Peters will truly be missed.
The family will receive friends at Kersey Funeral Home on Friday, March 11th for visitation from 2-4pm, Funeral services will be at Kersey Funeral Home Saturday, March 12th at 2pm.
