Vesta Melissa Macke

Vesta Melissa Macke, age 70, of Roswell, Georgia, passed away on December 30, 2025. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. at Bill Head Funeral Home, Duluth Chapel, located at 3088 Duluth Highway 120, Duluth, Georgia. Pastor Chris Pope will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment will follow at Arlington Memorial Park in Sandy Springs, Georgia.
Born in Smyrna, Georgia, Melissa was a retired bookkeeper who dedicated 30 years of service to Northside Tool Rental. She was known for her love of travel, her devotion to animals, and her quick wit and warm sense of humor, which will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.
She is survived by her daughter, Vesta Alaina Macke of Woodstock, Georgia, her twin brother, Michael Mayo Macke of Duluth, Georgia, her sister, Mary Sue Mullen of Crockett, Texas, and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Tellus Science Museum in Cartersville, Georgia, an organization the family has proudly supported for many years, in honor of Melissa's lifelong love of gems and minerals.
